3 Days Kibale Forest National Park : Kibale forest national park is located in the western part of Uganda, it is popular for its primate concentration with over 10 kinds of species, our 3-days Safari to Kibale forest national park will give you an insight into the conservation area to track chimpanzees. They are the closest relatives to mankind sharing up to 98% of the human DNA, chimpanzees are social, intelligent, and communicable primates. They enjoy living up in the trees and Nesting, the habituated troops live in groups of up to 20 members, largest Ugandan chimpanzee population can be found here in Kibale, the tracking is done in two sessions, morning beginning at 8:00 am and Afternoon at 2:00 pm East African Standard time.

Day 1: pickup and Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
You will be met by our company representative/Guide who will transfer you to Kibale forest national park, it takes approximately 7 hours drive to the land of primates passing through a beautiful green landscape arriving for a hot lunch and afternoon relaxation as you prepare for the following day’s activities
Luxury: Kyaninga Lodge.
Midrange: Primate lodge Kibale or Kluge’s guest Farm.
Budget: Kibale Forest camp

Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking
We will wake up to early morning breakfast, after which we drive to the Kanyanchu visitor center for chimpanzee tracking, you will be welcomed by olive baboons together with a morning briefing from the Uganda wildlife authority team which commence at 8:00am, tracking takes 2-3 hours or more depending on the movements of the Chimps and one hour is allowed with the chimpanzees returning for your lunch at the Lodge (local lunch is sometimes organised in the communities at Bigodi Community centre after which optional activities are conducted, like the Bigodi Swamp walk that brings you close to a lot of birds and primate species or Cultural walks for Coffee making proceses, local gin making and seeing how local people live) . Day 3: Departure
Following an early morning breakfast, you’ll head on to a long green drive back to Entebbe or Kampala for departure.
